The purpose of Bryan University’s Faculty Council is to assure that the faculty has a formal and systematic process for providing input, feedback, and advice on academic policies, procedures, and institutional continuous quality improvement. From time to time, the Council may be called upon to consider items requested by university administration.
Powers and Functions
The Faculty Council shall offer input regarding opportunities which may have an impact upon the quality of the educational experience of students at Bryan University.
The Faculty Council shall have a responsibility under the Assistant Vice President of Educational Programs and Instructional Quality to provide input and advice related to university-wide policies and procedures concerning the rights and responsibilities of the faculty. As such, the Council serves the University as a recommending body.
